Our History

Founded in 1956 as Eppich & Burger Manufacturing Co. in Vancouver by Helmut and Hugo Eppich and Stefan Buerger, the company rebranded as Ebco Manufacturing Ltd. in 1959 following the launch of its plating operations. In 1969, Ebco Metal Finishing moved to Richmond, B.C., where it expanded into dedicated plating and finishing services. Founders Helmut and Hugo Eppich were recognized as B.C. Business Entrepreneurs of the Year in 1973 and in 1990. In 1995, Ebco Industries Ltd. underwent a strategic restructuring, resulting in the creation of specialized divisions, including Ebco Metal Finishing LP.
